Building Brands With Clarity, Strategy & a Little Magic
Founder of Emberfly (formerly CityFlicker Freelance), I'm a strategist, operator, and communications architect with 15+ years building the programs, partnerships, and narratives that move companies forward.
Emberfly takes the complex, the cluttered, and the "we don't know how to do this" — and turns it into something so vivid it practically flutters off the page.
The result? Revenue that moves. Momentum that sticks. A brand that glows.
About Me
For over a decade, I've partnered with founders, executives, and leadership teams to build go-to-market strategies, craft executive communications, enable partner programs, and create events that people actually remember.
Whether it's positioning a product for launch, ghost-writing thought leadership for a CEO, or turning a conference booth into a lead-generation machine—I bring strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a healthy dose of color to everything I build.
I started my career in human resources and organizational development, which taught me something essential: great communications isn't just about messaging—it's about understanding people. What motivates them. What confuses them. What makes them trust you enough to take action. That people-first approach has shaped everything I do, from brand strategy to partner enablement to event design.
The Emberfly Experience
I combine 15+ years of senior marketing experience with fluency in the latest AI tools — which means faster turnaround, sharper output, and more value per dollar than a traditional agency or fractional leader can offer.
I don't do beige. I bring energy, personality, and memorable experiences to campaigns, events, product launches, and executive communications. The goal isn't just to get things done—it's to create work that people notice, remember, and act on.
My background spans B2B SaaS, climate tech, financial services, professional services, and government agencies. I've worked with Fortune 100 brands, scrappy startups, and everything in between. I'm equally comfortable building a national partner program, ghost-writing a CEO's keynote, or coordinating a sponsored happy hour that drives pipeline.
Working with me means you get more than strategy decks and messaging frameworks. You get someone who thinks like a strategist, executes like an operator, and cares deeply about making your work stand out.
Education & Expertise
I hold a Master's in Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University (where I graduated summa cum laude) and a Bachelor's in Human Resources Management from Geneva College. That mix of communications expertise and people operations gives me a unique lens on how to build marketing that aligns teams, motivates action, and scales effectively.
Community Builder
Outside of client work, I'm the co-founder and admin of Pittsburgh Moms Connect—what started as a handful of women looking for community has grown into Western Pennsylvania's largest grassroots parenting network, with over 20,000 members. Building that community taught me a lot about what makes people engage, stick around, and become advocates. Those same principles show up in how I think about partner programs, brand loyalty, and customer engagement.
